2025 Houston Community White Cane Safety Day (HCWCSD)

REMINDER:

Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 9 am to 12 noon at City of Houston Metropolitan Multi-Service Center (MMSC) at 1475 W. Gray, Houston, TX 77019

Theme:  Safety, Awareness, Freedom, and Equality (SAFE).  Event kickstarted by a march beginning at Lighthouse of Houston (3602 W. Dallas, Houston, 77019) at 9 am.  Must register by Friday, October 3, 2025 (deadline–link information in the SCOOP).

T-shirts available for purchase.  Sizes small to 6XL, price $13 to $18; deadline for ordering Monday, September 15 by  12 noon.  Forms of payment are cash, Zelle (viadvocates@gmail.com) and cash app ($viadvocates).
